We help and assist people with PIP, DLA, Attendance Allowance, Carer’s Allowance, Universal Credit, State Pension and Pension Credit. Start with a free 30-minute consultation with a solicitor, then we assist in preparing your claim through the solicitors.
Whether you are making a new claim, waiting for a decision or unhappy with one, we help you get your claim in the best possible shape.
For people with a long-term health condition or disability that affects daily living or getting around.
For children who need more care or supervision, or have more difficulty walking, than other children their age.
For older people who need help with personal care or supervision because of illness or disability.
For people who spend at least 35 hours a week caring for someone who gets a qualifying disability benefit.
For people on a low income or out of work, including the health element (LCW and LCWRA).
For people reaching State Pension age. The amount depends on your National Insurance record.
Tops up a low weekly income for people over State Pension age, and can open the door to other help.
Help with pension questions that affect your benefits, such as how pension income is counted.
PIP is decided by points. A claim can miss out by a single point because a form did not explain how a condition really affects someone day to day. We help you describe your needs fully, with the right evidence behind them.
| Points scored | Daily living part | Mobility part |
|---|---|---|
| 0 – 7 | No award | No award |
| 8 – 11 | Standard rate | Standard rate |
| 12 or more | Enhanced rate | Enhanced rate |
Daily living covers 10 activities, such as preparing food and washing. Mobility covers 2 activities: planning and following journeys, and moving around.
Working through the solicitors, we help prepare the paperwork, gather evidence and keep your claim moving.
We help you complete claim forms in your own words, making sure nothing important is left out.
We assist with requesting medical records, letters from your GP, consultant, carer or support worker.
We help you prepare for PIP, UC and other health assessments so you know what to expect.
If a decision looks wrong, we assist in preparing the reconsideration request with supporting evidence.
We help prepare the SSCS1 appeal form, your statement and the evidence bundle via the solicitors.
We assist with award reviews, change of circumstances and overpayment letters from DWP.
Your first step is a free 30-minute consultation with a solicitor by phone or video. They will listen to your situation, look at any letters you have, and explain how we can help.
Upon consultation, you will see exactly how we can help and what happens next. We then assist with preparing your claim, reconsideration or appeal through the solicitors.
